This six spotted native english ladybird is handcrafted from flat copper sheet hammered to shape and then brush painted with several coats of enamel paint to create the lovely deep red colour which has then been finished with the traditional black spots.

The delightful and playful ladybird is a symbol of good luck and is supposed to offer safety and protection against harm. A lady bird in your house is a sign of a soulmate relationship. If this is true I must have some good luck coming my way as every winter I end up with dozens of them taking up residence in my house.

The ladybird is approximately 11cm (4 1/4 inches) long and 6cm (2 1/4 inches) wide.

We only recommend these are used indoors.
